There is a monument on the drinking fountain with a small stout man wearing a hat and suit, with the number 1983 engraved underneath - ostensibly the year of placement. The number 1903 and banner of the Swiss Conferation is embossed in red underneath. Fontanella storica del 1903 is how it is labelled in Google Maps, though I cannot yet find another reference online.
