Hi,

Is what you're trying to get to show up showing up?

It sometimes takes up to week (although this is really rare) for your edits to display on the map although if someone else would edit the map immediately after you, they would be able to view your changes.

hi, thank you for the reversion, but can you confirm that this bridge no l; it appears in the mapbox satellite imagery and the that the bridge at osm.org/way/59360579 does not exist anymore.
(I do see that the user who first deleted it has a block on their edits).

hi, thanks for editing and welcome to OSM.

A suggestion to is to not use the name tag describe the feature.

For example, on the lateral water hazard, there's no need to add 'lateral water hazard' in the name field - osm.org/way/905631930

Similarly, you wouldn't name a restaurant 'restaurant' :)

If there's no name for a particular feature/object, just leave the name tag empty.

more info and guidance is at osm.wiki/Good_practice#Don.27t_use_name_tag_to_describe_things

(which was probably a mistake on my part for not including the jersey barriers there in the first place and mismapping it ;))

98933387 over 4 years ago

I did a brief look; and it generally looks a-ok; the only thing I'd suggest is that the jersey barriers impede the footways that were there so the crosswalk needs to be added.

the place does exist, I've been there before; it had not appeared on any of the aerial imagery at the time because the retail area was so newly built. ( ref osm.org/way/607201514/history

hi,
welcome to OpenStreetMap and thanks for your edits; they look good! My only suggestion is that you don't need to add the oneway tag to highways/roads; they are assumed that traffic can go in both directions if the 'oneway' tag is not present.

will in lakewood.

hi, thanks for the edits and welcome to openstreetmap!

The rural areas like this usually don't see many contributions so this is especially helpful!

hi, thanks for editing in cleveland but keep in mind for the future to not use the bing imagery. Several of the buildings (altogether, it was less than 10, it appears) that you added no longer exist; bing is not the most recent imagery in most parts of cleveland.

I've since deleted the relevant ones; thanks again for your mapping :)

Hi hanna244,
welcome to OpenStreetMap. Thanks for your interest and efforts but OpenStreetMap is only for adding features and places that actually existing in reality; osm.wiki/Verifiability - you have added 11 banks in a relatively small area which is very, very likely a mistake :) I've since removed them. If you have any questions or need any assistance on using OSM, visit https://learningosm.org

no problem and welcome; in this case, there's multiple addresses in this building so they're mapped separately in this case. :)

92473541 almost 5 years ago

hi, thanks for editing, but note that the address is is still really useful and worth keeping; you do not have to delete the entire node if the business closed; just delete the tags that were for the business... the address is still there :)

Thank you for your edits; but this is incorrect; I have reverted it based on personal knowledge and a personal visit.
I've made an update to reflect reality; in osm.org/changeset/92255354

These roads (847373713, v1
847373712, v1
847373711, v1
847373710, v1, 847373716, v1
847373715, v1) that you added in this changeset are incorrect and do not match the current reality. If you would have seen the construction area that was created in June 2020 of this year - osm.org/way/340062161 over that area, you would have seen that these roads do not currently exist. I have since deleted them in osm.org/changeset/92255354

for anyone coming across this, it appears that the river - osm.org/way/227691523 - is actually named the Meme River (ref: http://digitallibrary.usc.edu/digital/collection/p15799coll123/id/62299/rec/8 https://www.geonames.org/6856013/meme-river-forest-reserve.html

nice job on the edits; just a tip: the OSIP imagery 6inch imagery layer is a bit newer and better aligned than bing . you can access it in Id by pressing by `B`.

hi,

welcome to OpenStreetMap and thanks for editing.

the man_made=works tag that you applied to osm.org/way/826318059

is not a good description for that area osm.wiki/Tag:man%20made=works

That area is very likely an office (I am local to the area and have been very close to physically)

Will
