thanks for the correction; there's likely several of these where I had recorded the capacity as 1; probably can go and correct all of them that have capacity=1 in nearly all cases.

Thanks!

There are probably up to dozen more along lorain ave from kamm's corner (at rocky river drive) to W117th; someone (or I) would need to just to make a dedicated trip to doing it... the streetscape improvements that they did in the past couple years included them.

no worries; I think I made it years ago when I didn't know as better. :D

Thanks for the response. Ideally, we map what is there right now, and the bookstore tag would imply the bookstore is already open there so removed the bookstore tag but I added an additional tag (description) to provide additional information (like that it's a future bookstore) that's not really captured by any other tag. Tthe name tag is also suitable for this for adding extra information that's not quite applicable for a particular area.

Thanks again for all of your edits in and around the CWRU campus! I was there a couple weeks ago and was able to use OSM to navigate/browse around. :)

Hi,
Thanks for editing.

Is it still an open pub under a different name?

If the business closed, then you can delete the pub tag from the point but don't delete the point, the address is still useful information and should be kept. :)

thanks for editing although it is still closed until next week according to https://www.ideastream.org/news/clevelands-opportunity-corridor-will-open-to-traffic-next-week

Oh, thank you for correcting me and sharing that! The bing imagery has been updated and I wasn't aware of it! (OSM doesn't announce when imagery layers are updated and the updates are random, arbitrary, and OSM has no control when imagery is updated, it's all done by the provider)

hi janiceg,

thanks for editing and welcome to OpenStreetMap. Your edits look great so far.

I would suggest to use the OSIP 6 inch aerial imagery layer, it is newer than the bing imagery .

https://learnosm.org/en/beginner/id-editor/#configuring-the-background-layer has details how to change it.

if you have any questions about editing, feel free to ask and welcome again and thanks for editing.

thanks for the feedback.

I understand that additional information and in cases where it was feasible for me to do, I did add it.
several of my POIs I gathered by taking photographs of the area, where the exact name, and even, more often, the address, was not legible in the photograph.

will.

Hi,

Thanks for editing again, just a reminder in the future to not delete parking aisles (the roads used to park) the unless they actually don't exist.

109639826 almost 4 years ago

hi,

thanks for editing but I'm a little confused why you had deleted some features
(e.g. the parking lots; the bicycle parking in front of wal-mart, the bicycle parking in front of target) from steelyard commons.

(examples: osm.org/node/8584623777/history ; osm.org/node/8586729051/history ; osm.org/way/749689180/history

osm.org/way/819735664/history

Please do not delete features that already there unless they no longer physically exist.
Considering the bike racks were just added to the map a few months ago, I would be a little surprised that the bike racks were actually removed.

If you have any questions about mapping, feel free to ask me, or join the osm-us slack - osm.wiki/List_of_OSM_centric_Slack_workspaces

should correct be corrected as " I am assuming that perhaps USBR is supposed to on Whiskey island, which is north of the NS chicago line railroad tracks; there's a bridge that recently opened over the railroad tracks - osm.org/way/818563656 .

There's also a dedicated, separate cycleway lane along river road which I added as well, perhaps that should also be in USBR 21?

108003134 about 4 years ago

hi steve,

thanks for adding the USBR 21; that was a lot of work!

I was concerned that the USBR 21 that you had mapped north of the cuyahoga river is incorrect; part of the road that USBR ends at is private (gated) and is for an industrial business... I biked this area earlier this week. I am assuming that perhaps USBR is supposed to on Whiskey island, which is north of the NS chicago line railroad tracks and is

(maybe it ends at osm.org/way/957003778/ ?)

Janet_EG,

Thank you for adding this and many other black museums and institutions to OSM.
