My new Garmin GPSMap 76CSx just arrived from GPS Central. It's certainly an improvement over the I-Blue 757. Still working on getting it to play nicely with Linux and putting maps based on OSM data on it.

I hope that you enjoy using your new hardware. As an owner of garmin and i-blue hardware, as well as a freerunner, I have chosen to use the i-blue for gps logging because it is more accurate than the garmin.
I couldn't quickly find which chip was in the garmin you have just bought, but it will do fun things like display OSM maps so you know where you have and haven't been.

Well The only comparison I've done between the two so far has the GPSmap looking more accurate, or at least more consistent than the I-Blue.
Having feedback other than three LEDs and being able to mark waypoints without lugging my netbook with me are big improvements. You'd think Transsystem could have at least put a waypoint button on the 757.
