Hi-there MacLondon,

I use this bit of path between the two bits of Oxford Road twice daily - on foot - it's definitely a footpath open to cyclists. Is there any reason why I shouldn't make it foot=yes as well as making it a cycleway? Or is it better to have it as a footpath with bike=yes?

Hey there - is this a place called "Home"or is it your home?

65578872 over 6 years ago

Thanks Rob - that matches my mental model of the places.

I had a quick look at the Newham planning portal map earlier, and they only seem to have Keirin Road from all the Chobham Manor roads. (Naturally, the LLDC planning portal doesn't have maps).

So another win for OSM!

Hi there. I used to work on the Athletes Vilalge/East Village site during the refurbishment process. (In 2013/14). In those days the northern boundary of the East Village was Honour Lea Avenue. The Chobham Manor stuff definitely counted as a separate development, which opened quite a lot later. On that basis, way 179420174 bounds too large an area. (But of course, since my day, it could be that the East Village definition has been stretched north a bit).

Have added a Note. Hopefully some local person will sort it.

Agreed- the road layout just doesn't match the aerial imagery. I have actually been here (following the Cotswolds Way on foot); sadly, it was 3 years ago, and I didn't notice the discrepancy.

I walked Jury's Gap to St. Leonards, Eastbourne-Beachy Head- St Leonards; but it was too rainy to walk all of New Romney to Folkestone. As usual OSM was super-useful, with only a few changes needed. If you know the area, you might look at some of the resulting changesets: #62069242 ; #62068461; #62064821; #62064630 ; #62064339 ; #62063607 ; #62063442 ; #62063000 ; #62044583 ; and a few more minor ones.

Stratford Centre needs doing too. It's on my to-do list, but a long way down it.

Wow, thank-you for these change sets!

It's got something like building min level = -1, so I guess it's on the floor below.

I've added a changeset now that I think places the wall in the right place. It's a bit along the eastern wall of fatface. changeset 60493294.

I'm pretty sure the steps ( Way: 130855539 ) are outside; that Starbucks is (just) inside; and that WH Smith is inside (so probably misplaced at present). I'll have a look next time I'm at the station.

Hi there - not all of The Street (way 179433150) is indoors. From memory, the block bit between M&S and H&M is outside/uncovered.

All of 5 Endeavour Square still seems to be inside a Construction Area. (Way: The International Quarter (South) (304288723)) Presumably , that can be split or reduced to cover only the bit north of 'Stratford Walk'?

Hi - this is supported by the Newham planning portal... E.g. their map shows the location of 186 Henniker Road as being west of Major Road.

https://pa.newham.gov.uk/online-applications/propertyDetails.do?activeTab=summary&keyVal=000VH2JYLI000

(You can use the map tab, but you'll need to zoom in, like a lot).

sorry, not up to New River Path, up to a road near by.
