153540867 | about 1 year ago | bbox ended up being bigger than expected, apparently USPS operates some post offices on a few islands way out east. My bad y'all. |

152409438 | about 1 year ago | Why is it not classified as a knuckle? It's an extended part of the road's curve. I don't see any other use for it than to use it as a turning circle. |
150000000 | over 1 year ago | 150000000 WOOOO 🎉🎉 |
149923885 | over 1 year ago | I've been made aware that this relation should contain the outer ways of each county boundary, not each county. A fix is currently being discussed in the OSM World Discord server. |
101427456 | over 1 year ago | This changeset added many low quality and nonexistent buildings, Microsoft Building Footprints are not meant for bulk importing. Perhaps this changeset should be reverted. |
149108838 | over 1 year ago | Hi Israel22, this is not a trunk road. Please do not tag it as such. |
149108772 | over 1 year ago | Hi Israel22, please add comments to your changeset so others can see what you've changed! Also please make sure to fix all of the issues you see in the editor before uploading a changeset. Feel free to message me if you have any questions :) |
146277451 | over 1 year ago | We could propose a new tag, like "historic=cement_print" |
146277451 | over 1 year ago | Sometimes celebrities will leave their hand or foot print in cement, perhaps a tag for that would be applicable here? (For what it's worth "thing=hole" is a hilarious tag) |

142726449 | over 1 year ago | I'm personally not the most knowledgeable about indoor mapping but the indoor=room tag seems applicable to these rooms.
Buildings aren't supposed to cross each other, so tagging individual rooms within a larger building as buildings will cause errors. I just looked at the new paths that were added and they're still crossing other features.
When a path crosses under a building or skyway please use layer= tags to indicate which features are above and below one another.
You can also see that paths are crossing through gardens. Please make sure that the paths are mapped around other features so they don't cross each other. Could you give me some insight as to how these paths are being mapped? Are they drawn manually or are they imported from GPS traces? |
142726449 | over 1 year ago | Sounds good! If you'd like I could also help with mapping some of the paths if it doesn't interfere with your project. |
142726449 | over 1 year ago | The changeset that tagged rooms as buildings after I had already fixed them can be found here. |
142726449 | over 1 year ago | I've responded to Skydehy's message with my reasoning for deleting the paths but I'll post my response here as well. "Hi, these paths were definitely not correctly mapped. There were paths mapped where no visible paths were visible, paths crossed one another without being connected, paths crossed through other features, etc. You can see in the changeset metadata that the deletion fixed 26 errors. As you can see here (https://imgur.com/a/qQw9Bm2) there were many paths mapped in 1 open area, with no logic to it whatsoever. You can view the deleted data here (https://osmcha.org/changesets/142726449/). While I don’t doubt that this project is valuable to a lot of students, it also contributed very flawed data to OSM. Which is also why I won’t be reverting my changeset. The data added by the students simply doesn’t follow OSM guidelines. Students should only use OSM for projects when the data they contribute to OSM actually aligns with its standards and methods. I also saw that you changed the individual rooms I tagged as rooms back to buildings, this is not how you’re supposed to map them. As I said, if you use OSM for your project you will have to adhere to its standards and methods." |
141123892 | almost 2 years ago | Hi CurlingMan13, I made this multipolygon after a correspondence with the San Francisco Recreation & Parks Department. These individual polygons together form Lake Merced. Your revert also deleted a lot of important information on the relation such as operator tags, the wikidata identifier and the website. I've reverted this changeset.

60447287 | almost 2 years ago | Hey KindredCoda, Sorry to be commenting on this changeset 5 years later haha, I'm going through Osmose issues in SF rn. You added an untagged way in this changeset, so I was wondering if that was maybe supposed to be an inner line of the building? |
141954823 | almost 2 years ago | Hi Keith, please don't add names to features unless you're sure they're correct. I've removed the name from this street. |
