West San Gabriel Valley, California

Publicado por tcfjr el 29 diciembre 2008 en English.

Lately I've been working on a few things in the West San Gabriel Valley, just east of downtown Los Angeles in California.

- I've been cleaning up my home town, Temple City, by fixing up street alignments, adding some newly built streets, and adding parks, schools, restaurants, etc. There's more to do, and I plan on building it up continuously.

- I've added a few parks/schools/restaurants to adjacent areas as well.

- I was a little under the weather just after Christmas, so I took the opportunity to start a complete rehabilitation of Interstate 210. There was a lot of junk on this route, especially on its junctions with other routes. My goal is to have the full length of this highway completed by January 4, 2009, before I return to work after my company's end-of-year holiday. This includes: i) every junction properly rendered; ii) maxspeed, oneway, and lanes entries for all sections; iii) alignment with Yahoo satellite imagery; iv) clean-up of adjacent roads that have off-ramps and/or on-ramps with this highway. I started at the northern terminus with I-5, and so far I've gotten to the I-605 junction. There's still lots to do, but I'll get it done.
