Added two nodes, got a line

Ipinaskil ni techlady noong 30 Hunyo 2009 na nasa English

I added two nodes that were supposed to be two separate features at Navajo National Monument (36.681213835982, -110.5430872789) in northeast Arizona, and ended up with a line between the two. How do I get rid of it and prevent it from happening in the future?

If you are using Potlatch on the website's edit tab, it's very easy to accidentally connect nodes. If you use JOSM (http://josm.openstreetmap.de/) as your editor, then hitting escape a couple times when it starts drawing a line when all you want is a node, should do it.

The line must be mistakenly shown by your editor, because there is no line in the data. Your changeset just contains the two campground nodes.

If you're using Potlatch (the edit tab on the website,) click the node once to create it, then click it again to stop the editor trying to draw a line from it. When you've done this it will turn from a black square to a green circle. You may also be able to press enter on the keyboard to do this, I'm not sure.
