149357379 | over 1 year ago | Hello, Thaks for your edits to the map. Unfortunately, we are not allowed to use Google Maps when editing OpenStreetMap due to Google's terms of use. Also, you seem to be deleting nodes and replacing them with another only a few meters away. You should instead modify the existing node as this preserves the history of the object. Finally, moving a node that represents a business by only a few meters when the business takes up a relatively large area really doesn't add much value. |
149284934 | over 1 year ago | Hi Murgrim, Thanks for the reply. Generally, unless something is in the public domain (sorry if that is a US-specific term), or we have explicit permission to use it (like Bing aerial imagery), it can't be used to edit OSM. It should be possible to get the XML from your changeset, pull it into JOSM, where you can remove the stuff that was from Google Maps and then upload. I haven't done this before but can try to help. |

148847228 | over 1 year ago | Hello again. Sorry for the delay. I am not a lawyer, but my understanding is that using those sources for phone numbers should be ok. |
