hey i’m trying ton export in pdf, svg or jpeg file a part of a map and i always get this message :
Error The load average on the server is too high at the moment. Please wait a few minutes before trying again.
did someone know how to fix the problem thanks ;) michael

Hello yes even i request a smaller image it doesn’t work !! and i need a whole city

Check on OSM Help: it is more or less standard not to be able to download an image from the main OSM website. It is very server intensive and these days with nearing 2 million signed-up contributors the main map servers just don’t have the downtime from routine tasks to render these requests.
There are other options, many listed at OSM on Paper on the Wiki.

It might be faster to stitch together screen shots.

Hi,
Try to export your SVG or PDF betreten 23:00 and 6:00 o’clock because you recive this error message if the servers are to busy. If the server utilisation is above 25% the server will block your request!
