Newbie - working on São Paulo - SP: Vila Romana, Agua Branca, Consolação and whatever more I can...
Posted by thomashansen on 16 August 2009 in English.Today I started working with OpenStreetMap. The actual work done on SP maps is terrific! Anyway, I'm here to help correcting whatever I can and placing important markings on the maps. I just corrected some street names, gave the correct names to others and made some adjustments on one or other spot. The biggest intervention I did was the access to Av. 9 de julho/Av. Jaú, which was just not correct. I'll try to keep track of all changes I do on the map, and if I eventually make some change some of you do not agree, please, tell me so we can discuss it.
Best wishes to all!

Hello Thomas, are you also living in São Paulo, or just passing time there? I am myself an estrangeiro living in Brazil and love to see the community grow. Unfortienately I live far from SP, but we need to cover alot of ground in this waste country.

Hi, Skippern,
I have actually lived in São Paulo for these last 12 years. Yes, there's a lot of ground to cover here - but I really believe there are lots of people interested in helping, it's just a question of spreading the idea through the communities...
