35847977 | over 9 years ago | Thank you for improving OpenStreetMap. I track changes to the map in Wimbledon and noticed a small problem with this edit. This change adds a new node for Bayley & Sage at osm.org/node/3884841457 but there's already an existing node at osm.org/node/423749758 so the map now contains duplicate information. |
35399544 | over 9 years ago | Hello, thank you for improving OpenStreetMap. You mention that you have copied data from TFL's Web site. However, this is a copyrighted source. Given osm.wiki/Copyright I wonder if you should revert this edit. What do you think? |
26384576 | over 9 years ago | Hi, I notice you set the addr:housenumber as "1-5". Given that Two Sisters are at number 3, this seems wrong. Was this a mistake? |
34087854 | over 9 years ago | Thank you - that's helpful to know. |
34087854 | over 9 years ago | Hi, the zebra crossing footpath you added at osm.org/way/371235450 looks like a duplicate of one you added 12 months ago at osm.org/node/3187432450 - it seems odd to map the same feature twice. |
30459309 | almost 10 years ago | I have deleted the non-existent cafe: osm.org/changeset/34795649 |
34259834 | almost 10 years ago | This edit has resulted in misrepresenting the shape of Waterloo Road. I've moved the node to a more sensible place in osm.org/changeset/34566164 but I'd be grateful if you review my change and improve it if necessary. |
18188000 | almost 10 years ago | I assume the Cath Kidston shop has "operator=Barclays Bank PLC" accidentally set from its previous use as a bank:
Do you have any objection to removing this tag? |
34443141 | almost 10 years ago | Thank you for trying to improve OpenStreetMap. Please could you explain the reason for this change? Your message suggests you have split Brighton Road in order to tag a restriction. The only restriction I can see is the speed limit, which you haven't changed and which remains 30 mph in all edited sections of Brighton Road. |
30459309 | almost 10 years ago | I don't think there's a cafe here, just the pavement. Did you intend to add "wheelchair: yes" to the existing Costa Coffee at osm.org/node/2048134010 instead? |
31973821 | almost 10 years ago | Thanks again for your continued excellent work. |
31973821 | almost 10 years ago | Thank you for your work on improving the map around the Isle of Dogs. I notice you changed the name of "The North Pole" to include "closed" in its name. As this was never part of the pub's name, this looks like tagging for the renderer:
The "disused:amenity" tag already provides the information that this building is not currently used as a pub:

32814505 | about 10 years ago | I'll remove them in my next edit if you haven't beaten me to it - I've also still got lots more to add.. |
32814505 | about 10 years ago | Hi, Derick. You added three trees on the north side of New King's Road between Munster Road and Eddiscome Road. My photos from Tuesday show a building site here running alongside the pavement with no trees there. I wonder if the trees should be somewhere else. |
32449230 | about 10 years ago | I finally found some time to look into this, but I notice you beat me to it at osm.org/relation/1572292 - thank you. |
32752715 | about 10 years ago | Thank you for your work on mapping the outlines of several churches around Wimbledon. I notice you leave the existing node on the map, but then add an outline around it for the building. There's no easy way for tools to know the node and the area describe the same thing, so can I suggest you consider the advice in osm.wiki/One_feature,_one_OSM_element ? |
32449230 | about 10 years ago | Hi, it's a shame you didn't leave a comment describing the reason for your changes. I guess you wanted to remove the two separate stations named "City Thameslink" which seems like a good idea. However, the two buildings (ways 107643523 and 191560234) now have no connection to the "City Thameslink" station. Would you mind if I try to improve on this further by using a relation? |
29969310 | about 10 years ago | Thank you for your quick reply. The fixme related not only to the box's position, as you mention, but also asked "there's a post office another box just down the road, so does this box still exist?" I'm not questioning the value of you moving the road (thank you), but I suspect the fixme is correct that this box might be disused. If you're not certain whether the box is still in use or not, I'll walk past it soon to check. |
29969310 | about 10 years ago | I notice you removed the FIXME from osm.org/node/379690999/history - can you explain why? I haven't surveyed properly yet, but although this postbox is physically present, I believe it's no longer in use. |
28034334 | over 10 years ago | Thank you for this useful edit. I notice you have added a way for St Andrews Church at osm.org/way/321241861 but kept the existing node at osm.org/node/411503720 so the map now contains two churches close by. You might want to delete the node and merge in the tags describing the religion and denomination on to the way. Also, I haven't visited MK Central station in a while, but I'm surprised there's a toilet between the two bus lanes at osm.org/node/3279749144 ! Thanks again for adding more information to the map,
