this is a first shot at putting Mariensee on the map.
Using tracks seems to work. also tagging the streets and paths. Only problem is: the new map cannot be seen by the public. odd.
On the osm main map, you can click on the plus sign on the right hand side to switch to osmarender, which is afaik the same map informationfreeway displays.

On openstreetmap.org the default map is updated about once a week, try http://www.informationfreeway.org/ which gets updated more often
