35665718 | over 9 years ago | Please can you explain this edit, does it really affect the northern line? |
35620640 | over 9 years ago | For reference to previous discussion on this issue see osm.org/note/474399 I am really not convinced by this change, the property boundaries match bing pretty well, I would call that pretty verifiable. The distinction between wall and fence is minor, most of the houses in this area look to be Victorian terraces, so barrier=wall is the most likely. One thing you can guarantee is that there are barriers. We do no have lots in the UK. that is an American term. I do not get you comment re Cadestra, that if not relevant in the UK. The only way to collect address data is to walk/cycle and record what you see. My view is that this change should be reverted, There are probably overlapping barriers here, but that can be fixed and the buildings traced. A green mass is far less meaningful, and less likely to inspire a local mapper. than the previously mapped walls. |

33876016 | over 9 years ago | Hi Darren
I don't expect you will get a reply so I would go ahead and revert this edit. Are you happy to do that, or would you like me to do it? |

34676257 | over 9 years ago | I have done similar where there is a defibrillator inside osm.org/way/264061549 |
33458747 | over 9 years ago | Those are definitely residential buildings |
35064150 | over 9 years ago | Its not actually a peak, it is more the name of the massif, when viewed or ascended from Ratlinghope. Locality is not really correct and appears to have been placed in the same place as on OS maps indicating it has been copied here to make the name appear on the map. |
35055957 | over 9 years ago | No response recieved.

35078933 | over 9 years ago | Is osm.org/way/5061508 really named "A23 Slip Road"?

34952151 | almost 10 years ago | I have reverted this change. I suspect that the problem was with the app rather than OSM data. It is always worth checking routing issues using the routers available on the main osm site. OSRM for example did not have an issue with the bridge. Are you using the lastest version of the app? Is all of your map data updated? I am a little surprised the app took you on a 20 mile detour if the bridge was an issue, as I would expect it to route through the village. I have added tourism=wilderness_hut to the bothy, it is ok to map multiple things in the same changeset, but good practice to keep routing issues in separate to adding tourism features. If you still have issues, let us know and we can try to get to the bottom of the problem. |
34952723 | almost 10 years ago | Please add meaningful changeset comments, this is the 6th with the same name and only the first involved Hinckley Road Cemetary. |
