This really belongs in openhistoricalmap, I am giving the original mapper a couple of
days to respond before I remove them.

Hi, welcome to OSM.
Don't worry about the historic pubs, the really don't belong in OSM as we map what exists and is verifiable. I have commented on the addition of those historic pubs and am waiting for a response from the other mapper.

Historic pubs do not really belong in OSM, we aim to map what exists today.
There is a project http://www.openhistoricalmap.org which is based on OSM where you can add historic item.

Should this, and other amenities mapped within the University be mapped as access=private.
There are security gates on Mayor's Walk so I imagine if I was to try to use this cafe, or one of the cash points I would be removed by a very large security guard.

Horse drawn is also used on the Meir Tunnels and matches signage.

I have reverted back to the original, give me a shout if you need any help.

Thank you, although the preferred way to deal with this type of issue is to correct what is there rather than to delete and start again. This way the history of the feature is preserved.
Maybe the farmyard tag could have been changed to landuse=residential in this case?

Thanks, I have reverted it in osm.org/changeset/37294846

Hi, in what way was this feature incorrect? The mapping appears to match bing imagery.

Hi, welcome to OSM.
I think something has gone wrong here, you appear to have added a way to the map that has no tags, and does not appear to match anything on the ground.
What were you intending?
Please remember this is a live map that is used by many people.
Do you need any help cleaning this up?

Hi
Welcome to OSM, thank you for your additions. I have spotted a small anomaly in your tagging of the cattle grid. The name field is for verifiable names.
The correct way to map a cattle grid is simply as a node barrier=cattle_grid.
Hope this helps, if you have any questions please ask.

Hi, please could you tell me the source of your additions in Wales , you seem to be adding a lot of things that could only be added by a survey.
Thanks Phil

Again please can you explain why you think simplifying is a good thing?

37266113 over 9 years ago

Why are you removing detail from the map, this is information that mappers have worked hard to map. It is disrespectful to simply remove it without an adequate explanation.

Again, please can you explain your reasons for deleting the kerb and grass from these islands?

Hi
Please can you explain your reasons for deleting the grass, kerb and bollards from this roundabout?

Looking at bing imagery it looks too flat to be considered a summit, there is a reservoir there from what I can see. If you went there how come you didn't map this or the track up to it?
I would not consider this a significant summit that really needs to be mapped. Maybe change it to map the trigpoint?

37237216 over 9 years ago

If this is a trigpoint then it should probably be mapped as a survey point.
At 170m it is unlikely to be a significant summit.
