Hadley Cemetery is operated by the local parish council. Local Authority cemeteries are normally multi-faith. What evidence is there that this is Christian?

Hi, what is the purpose of this area?

That is fine

Verifiable in OSM means that somebody walking along the street can verify its existence. There needs to be a sign of some sort. We map what we see and are not a business directory.
Google Places, Yell.com and Bing Places are all copyright sources and are not allowed to be used in OSM.

The way to tag a closed pub, assuming it still looks like a pub is to change the tag to disused:amenity=pub. There is no need to move it.

29650812 over 10 years ago

Hi
osm.org/node/534348929 is tagged as a pub, however it has been placed in the centreline of Green End.
It should not be connected to a road in this way as it can.

Looking at bing imagery, this footpath looks as through it connects with The Firs.
It looks as though it is not as straight as drawn.
Is it possible to add some gps traces?

Hi, welcome to Openstreetmap.
Something seems to have gone wrong with your edit however. As well as adding your business, you seen to have included it in a relation for LFE Services. Do you need assistance in fixing this.
Please could you confirm that you business os a shop, or has clearly visible signage that is visible to passers by? Work from home businesses should not be included in osm unless they are verifiable.
Thanks

Thank you.
It is probably best tagged historic=memorial, memorial=plaque, name=Cardinal Wolsey in that case.

Is there actually something visible on the ground here?
As far as I know he might be buried in Leicester, but you seem to have found it.

No response, so have reverted

Thanks for the explanation
It is better to tag as acces=private, as they still exist, a path or road does not have to be removed if not accessible and adding access tags clarifies that. If you simply remove them, then some may re-draw them.

Hi and welcome to OSM.
I am a little puzzled by your change, you seem to have deleted a section of path which is clearly visible on bing aerial imagery.
As you have not left a changeset comment it would be useful if you would explain your change.
Thanks

Hi
I don't think this is a place of worship, in fact I know its a fitchet town house.
Please remember this is not a private map and add tags correctly

29384130 over 10 years ago

Hi, a few things have gone a little wrong here.
The Co-op was already mapped and you seem to have duplicated it.
The newsagents is unlikely to be called Newsagents, does it have a name, also the fish and chip shop is unlikely to be called fish and chips.
The house will not be called LE5 6NG, that belongs on addr:postcode and why only draw one house?
If you need any advice, just ask.

Hi
Welcome to OSM.
I would suggest that the pizza place should be tagged as amenity=fast_food as it is takeaway only.

Hi and welcome to OSM.
This edit appears to have gone a little wrong, you seem to have added a building over the top of the existing one, maybe we can help you achieve what you were trying to do?

An example of a nearby bus stop is osm.org/node/627856525

29242703 over 10 years ago

Hi Tom
Thank you for your edit, however it appears to have gone a little wrong.
It is normal to map bus stops as a node beside the road, this indicates which side of road someone wishing to catch the bus should stand. The node should be tagged as highway=bus_stop and add a name if know. In this case I would go for 'University'.
Use of capitals is regarded as shouting, so is never good and abbreviations are seen as cliquy and only for those in the know. Even in Leicestershire most people will not immediately understand UCL.

Hi
Welcome to OSM. I see that you have started to add what appears to be a building in Newport, but you have stopped without adding any tags to the way. You should probably tag it with building=yes, do you know what the building actually is? I am fairly local but not familiar with Newport.
Ask away if you need any help. Looking at the map, Newport is in need of some TLC, there are a lot of shops missing and could use someone with local knowledge.
