Hi
Are you sure that when you surveyed osm.org/node/2030692588/history it was a speed limit sign? A truvello is normally a speed camera, but you would have noticed that along with the only 80kph speed limit sign in the UK?
I am sure this was a mistake, because making an undiscussed global mass edit that touches such a wide variety of tags would be wrong and I'm sure you wouldn't do that.

I can revert it, thanks for getting back

Please can you explain this edit, does it really affect the northern line?

For reference to previous discussion on this issue see osm.org/note/474399

I am really not convinced by this change, the property boundaries match bing pretty well, I would call that pretty verifiable. The distinction between wall and fence is minor, most of the houses in this area look to be Victorian terraces, so barrier=wall is the most likely. One thing you can guarantee is that there are barriers.

We do no have lots in the UK. that is an American term.

I do not get you comment re Cadestra, that if not relevant in the UK. The only way to collect address data is to walk/cycle and record what you see.

My view is that this change should be reverted, There are probably overlapping barriers here, but that can be fixed and the buildings traced. A green mass is far less meaningful, and less likely to inspire a local mapper. than the previously mapped walls.

Hi Darren
This mapper made a few dodgy edits 3 months ago and hasn't returned since.

I don't expect you will get a reply so I would go ahead and revert this edit. Are you happy to do that, or would you like me to do it?

Hi
Something appears to have gone wrong here, you have placed a node in London , yet the address is in Los Angeles. It doesn't really match the location .
Please move the node to the actual, verifiable, location as this looks wrong to me.
Please also keep changeset comments to descriptions of what you have done, such as 'added office'. Long spammy comments do not go down well with the community.
Thanks

Hi, thank you for your addition.
Is there any reason you only traced part of the building?
I have corrected the outline and added the other buildings, did you happen to survey what other businesses occupy the other units?

I have done similar where there is a defibrillator inside osm.org/way/264061549

Those are definitely residential buildings

Its not actually a peak, it is more the name of the massif, when viewed or ascended from Ratlinghope. Locality is not really correct and appears to have been placed in the same place as on OS maps indicating it has been copied here to make the name appear on the map.

No response recieved.
I have therefore removed the oneway tag from the area and restored psv=yes, see osm.org/changeset/35127992

Is osm.org/way/5061508 really named "A23 Slip Road"?
I somehow doubt it.
Please can you explain this change?

There is a wayside cross mapped, is that the war memorial osm.org/node/425429634

35055957 over 9 years ago

Hi
Please can you explain why you have deleted psv=yes. Have you surveyed the bus station to determine that buses are now prohibited?

35078935 over 9 years ago

Hi
Something appears to have gone a little wrong here, you have added a footpath which ends close to, but doesn't join the Maelor Way. Are you sure that is correct and that wakers have to turn around and go back?

35081295 over 9 years ago

Hi
I think something has gone wrong here. You seem to have added a path that basically follows osm.org/way/327119713.
I assume there are not 2 paths here?

I have reverted this change.

I suspect that the problem was with the app rather than OSM data. It is always worth checking routing issues using the routers available on the main osm site. OSRM for example did not have an issue with the bridge.

Are you using the lastest version of the app? Is all of your map data updated?

I am a little surprised the app took you on a 20 mile detour if the bridge was an issue, as I would expect it to route through the village.

I have added tourism=wilderness_hut to the bothy, it is ok to map multiple things in the same changeset, but good practice to keep routing issues in separate to adding tourism features.

If you still have issues, let us know and we can try to get to the bottom of the problem.

Please add meaningful changeset comments, this is the 6th with the same name and only the first involved Hinckley Road Cemetary.
