As you can see in the linked thread of the local mailing list, people are here of the opinion that the mentioned towns should be named bilingually (as they are even signposted bilingually on the ground). Are you OK with me (partially) reverting this changeset in order to get back to the previous state in order to fulfill the will of the community?

Der Name eines Objekts sollte für wirkliche Eigennamen reserviert bleiben (z.B. ist der konkrete Name dieser Bushaltestelle wahrscheinlich "Laimburg - Castelvarco", siehe http://timetables.sad.it/getTimetablePDF.php?id=5053).

you can query Nominatim to get the country, region and city of a given coordinate pair (it's called "reverse geocoding", see osm.wiki/Nominatim#Reverse_Geocoding).

Hi. Just out of curiosity: why the addition of is_in tags? Isn't that tag generally discouraged (given that boundary polygons are already well mapped in the region)?

Also, in the case of osm.org/node/3400807632 you didn't set the correct name of the city the measurement station is in.

The question is about an "alpine hut" (osm.org/way/41976208) which appears to be only a restaurant/cafe judging from its name and location. Can you confirm that it is indeed an alpine hut (e.g. including the possibility to sleep there)? Thanks!

Hallo. Diese Änderungen verstehe ich nicht ganz. Wieso hast du hier ein neues Polygon für die Alm angelegt, wenn es schon osm.org/relation/3205367 gibt? Auch fehlten dem Polygon weitere Tags, zusätzlich zum "name". (Und die Schreibweise "Saiser" mit ai ist wahrscheinlich nur ein Tippfehler, oder?)

PS: Wofür war denn die andere Linie, die du in osm.org/changeset/41460790 hinzugefügt und hier gelöscht hast ursprünglich gedacht?

Why did you remove the non Italian names from tis place node: osm.org/node/3658626298/history (see https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lavarone)?

Also, the removal of bilingual names in Valle della Fersina (e.g. osm.org/node/3420327670/history) seems very problematic, as I can't find a discussion about this with the local community (e.g. in https://lists.openstreetmap.org/pipermail/talk-it-trentino/). At least from my outside perspective the names should be bilingual (see wikipedia: *“La toponomastica locale è bilingue: presenta il nome della località prima in italiano, poi in mocheno. Tutto questo è regolamentato da una legge e da un regolamento provinciale che concretizzano lo Statuto di Autonomia delle Province Autonome di Trento e Bolzano che esprime la parte sulle minoranze linguistiche.”* https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pal%C3%B9_del_Fersina).
