I now have access to a good, rectified aerial picture of my home town Orsa. I have a written license agreement with the local authorities to use this picture for OSM. After I have managed the technical difficulties (translating to the right projection, setting up a WMS-server), I can use it now to build a good topographic map of Orsa.

Orsa in northwestern Dalarna is quite a white spot on the openstreetmap until now. But I would like to change that.

My goal is beside the normal mapping to map the cykel and hiking routes in the region to be able to build a (topographic) hiking and cykling map. To make these maps available for Garmin devices is hopefully not only for my own advantage.

Because I am a quite new member of the community, it is quite likely that I will do tagging mistakes. So, if you find any, tell me.
