Hello and welcome Calzila. Nice to have a relative neighbour actively mapping, I generally map the south of the Guildford/Waverley border. AFAIK the bridge should be deleted if there are no plans to rebuild it. If it is just a case of slowly rebuilding/construction it should be tagged with highway=construction+construction=footway + bridge=yes (see: osm.wiki/Tag:highway%3Dconstruction)
