Dear microzorzo, a very long time ago you added osm.org/way/317178713 as an unclassified road. It has meanwhile been downgraded to "service"; however we now have a complaint from a land owner saying that this was a "strada privata con divieto al transito". Further it is claimed that osm.org/way/30044415 which you last edited a year ago and which has foot=yes,horse=yes,bicycle=yes in OSM, was an "argine privato". The complaint further claims that "il tratto di argine dall'incrocio del Timonchio-Bacchiglioncello (poi Bacchiglione) verso Villaverla è sedime arginato in piena proprietà scrivente per il quale è interdetto/vietato ogni tipo di accesso (con sbarramento di divisione colturale)." -- Is this something that you could help us with? Do you think these claims are true?

Ich habe den Namen jetzt in osm.org/changeset/114612163 wieder auf "Hindenburgstraße" geändert, weil mir ein Anwohner versichert hat, dass das so noch auf den Schildern steht. Siehe auch https://forum.openstreetmap.org/viewtopic.php?pid=848743#p848743 - sobald die Schilder getauscht werden, können wir das ändern (dann aber bitte den Hindenburg in old_name behalten).

Dear Sosha1996, please immediately cease any edits to the Persian/Arabian gulf. Do not "fix" anything no matter how wrong you think it is. Hallo Princeofpersia, in osm.org/changeset/101250778 hatte ich darum gebeten, bei der Umbenennung der Hindenburgstraße strikt nach den Straßenschildern zu gehen und nicht nach Beschlüssen. Kannst Du bestätigen, dass auf den Straßenschildern mittlerweile "Loebensteinstraße" steht? Ansonsten bitte so lange den Hindenburg drin lassen, bis die Schilder geändert sind. Den von Dir als Quelle genannten Artikel kann ich leider nicht lesen (Paywall), dem Titel nach scheint es da gar nicht um die Hindenburg/Loebensteinstraße zu gehen?

Yes, the matter was not given sufficient time. Also, "Recently OSM carto tiles has been blocked in Iran by certain ISPs" (quote from mailing list article) should never be a reason for any change in OSM because we cannot let national ISPs decide what to show on our maps.

Hallo GelikaS, ich habe den Namen Deines Hotels auf "Parkhotel Ruhpolding" geändert, denn der Zusatz in Klammern, der die Angebote des Hotels beschreibt, gehört nicht auf die Karte. Ebenso ist es unnötig, dem Gebäude UND dem Hotel-POI einen Namen zu geben - es reicht, das beim POI zu tun.

Die Änderungen wurden von einer Person gemacht, an der Mitarbeit - inhaltlich korrekt oder nicht - OpenStreetMap nicht mehr interessiert ist. Aber es spricht nichts dagegen, die Sache auf der österreichischen Mailingliste oder im österreichischen Forum zu diskutieren. It is possible that some source tags do not make sense and should be removed, however this is not for one individual mapper to decide; our mechanical edit policy says you need to discuss such edits in the community before, something which you have not done.

If you edit the geometry of something based on, say, Bing imagery, then of course it makes sense to remove the source tag of that one thing. But removing the source tags of thousands of things without otherwise editing them is a mechanical edit that needs to be discussed beforehand. Please adhere to these rules in the future.

In this changeset you have changed the surface tag of osm.org/way/1000046443 to "ground" where a previous mapper had changed it to "grass" based on a survey done a week ago. You claim that your data source is "Bing imagery". What is your reason to believe that Bing imagery trumps a recent survey?

This (and related changesets) is an un-discussed automatic edit that violates our rules. Edits of such magnitude have to be discussed on suitable channels before. You are right in saying that we use changeset source comments nowadays, but since you cannot retrofit old changesets with source comments, this mass tag deletion is actually harmful.

I have done that now for the path to the NE of this where we had a landowner complaint. For this path here, I removed your access=private variant since this path was not in the land owner's complaint.

Hello AndreasAlltrails, in this changeset you have drawn a *new* access=private path over an already existing public access path. This does not achieve the desired result. You have to add the "access=private" to the already existing path!

In this changeset you added a military area called "Defense Security Command". I can see how the extent of the area, and fences and buildings, can be seen on imagery, but what is the source of the name? Do they have a sign at the gate and have you been there, or what?

Dear user rapids, in this changeset you assinged a name to a military base in South Korea. You have also named other military installations. Are these names public knowledge, or what is your source for these names?
