Offensichtlich eine regelwidrig angelegte Sockenpuppe des (wegen Unbelehrbarkeit, Mikromapping und unbelegter Unterstellungen) dauerhaft gesperrten Benutzers "beautifulplaces". Benutzer gesperrt und alle Änderungen entfernt.

Der Mapper Jens Erat ist seit 2 Jahren nicht mehr aktiv, aber alikoni habe ich mal auf diese Diskussion hier aufmerksam gemacht. @Peilscheibe, wieso hast Du hier das Reverter-Plugin eingesetzt, da musst Du ja konkret nach bestimmten Changesets gesucht haben und gedacht haben, dieses Changeset ist falsch, das revertiere ich? In so einem Fall wäre natürlich schon eine konkretere Aussage als "Stuttgart-Möhringen: road attributes" im Changeset-Kommentar angebracht. Das gilt genauso für das benachbarte Changeset - wenn man das Reverter-Plugin bemüht, sollte einem das wenigstens eine Erklärung wert sein.

@Ze0zohk1 in diesem konkreten Fall, bei dem Peilscheibe zum dritten Mal ein foot=no am Way 159531668 entfernt hat, würde ich auch von Peilscheibe erwarten, der Sache per Diskussion auf den Grund zu gehen, statt stur immer wieder zu revertieren. Allerdings gibt es nicht *grundsätzlich* die Verpflichtung, immer erst mit dem Original-Autor zu reden, bevor man etwas ändert. Wenn ich irgendwo etwas sehe, das überflüssig oder falsch erscheint, kann ich das schon einfach so korrigeren. Aber, wenn ich dann merke, dass ein Mapper sehr viele von diesen Sachen macht, die ich überflüssig oder falsch finde, wird es Zeit für eine Diskussion, sonst verschwenden beide nur ihre Zeit.

Ich hatte von der Bundeswehr nur eine eingescannte Karte, die ich hinter meinen JOSM gelegt hatte, also Ortskenntnis ist auf jeden Fall besser! Falls Unklarheiten bestehen, habe ich von damals auch noch den Kontakt zu den Bundeswehr-Leuten vor Ort und könnte bezüglich einzelner Wege nachfragen, aber nach dem, was Du schilderst, scheint die Situation vor Ort ja klar zu sein und es wäre auf jeden Fall willkommen, wenn Du das entsprechend korrigierst.

Hello, have you discussed this rather wide-ranging boundary change with anyone (especially in Greece and/or Turkey) before you executed it? If I interpret your source correctly you have more or less guessed all these boundaries from coastlines? -- Also, could you ensure that both the eastern and western boundary line around Imia/Kardak is marked disputed, currently you've only done that with the western one.

OpenStreetMap could be maximally improved if you stuck to editing areas where you have first-hand knowledge, instead of guessing things from aerial imagery in places where you don't even speak the language. Changing a natural=marsh to natural=wetland; wetland=marsh might seem a harmless edit to you but are you really sure what you're doing here? Do you even know that natural=marsh was right in the first place? Maybe the user who put natural=marsh was completely clueless and meant something entirely different? To quote an old example, if someone tags a horse as "animal=kow" and you then "improve" that to "animal=cow", what has been gained?

Und osm.org/way/988892167 sieht auf dem Luftbild auch anders aus als das, was Du eingezeichnet hast. Kannst Du erklären, wie es zu diesen Diskrepanzen kommt?

Usually maps will have a copyright notice. If they don't then the law usually assigns copyright nonetheless. Copyright usually expires a given time after the death of the author; for institutional publishers, copyright expiry rules might be different. It is your job to research that and to specify proper sources when uploading your data. If you receive special permission from the map publisher or a legal representative, get that in writing and upload it somehwere where others can see.
