My edits are only as good as the research allows them to be.

In this case, I had a source that put the address at 29 and bag, stating that the address was 18t.

In this case, verifying the address on the building is difficult because it is not clearly visible on images online.

The best way to figure out what the address is is to go there in person
So I'm happy that somebody checked the work and found this mistake.

On the topic of addresses on buildings.
I agree that, in general, we don't put addresses on buildings, like with the houses on the other side of the street.

But this is a different case. The whole building is the telecom exchange, so it would make sense to tag the building as such. And then, the telecom exchange has an address that I would like to see on the same object as the telecom exchange.

So, in this case, I find it acceptable to have the address on the building.

On the topic of CGB numbers. They are numbers used to identify the different telecom exchanges. The recommendation to put them under a ref sub-key is accepted.

Then lastly, about not responding. We are all here voluntarily. so I find it inappropriate to request an audience. I get that I'm very late in responding to the first message. But I had less than 24 hours to reply to the second one.

Also, the first message is very constructive, with questions and recommendations. Your message tells me I'm wrong and that we have rules you don't follow. And then, when I don't have time to work on osm for 12 hours, you fix it yourself and demand that I answer for my errors.

Sorry for calling you out like this. I know that you have the best intentions with your messages. I also don't want to discourage you from leaving a message because it is important to discuss the quality of osm. But please also think about the non-verbal message you send with the tone.

I hope that with this message, I've answered all your questions. I'm still open for debate. (although the answers might be somewhat late :) )

bedankt voor de feedback

ik heb een extra changeset aangemaakt waar in ik wat van de items probeer optelossen.

ik zal proberen de historie meer in de gaten te houden. maar ik ben ook van de mindset dat mappen belangrijker is dan history.
ik voeg liever twee extra bedrijven toe dan dat ik voor iedere node de history behoud.
maar als het makkelijk kan dan ga ik dit proberen,

over coldenhoven. ik heb hem van de waynode gehaald door hem te kopiëren. dus dat kan denk wel wat beter.

qua perselen. ik zie de percelen nog niet terug komen op de ahn. maar misschien komt dat omdat ik het bos nog niet kan lezen.

de reden dat ik ze bij elkaar had gevoegd is omdat in rotterdam en omstreken het vaak zonder reden los van elkaar is waardoor het makkelijk editen van de omtrek moeilijker wordt.

ik hoop dat ik mijn kant heb uitgelegd.

I got the locations for the Fastned chargers from that site. And use maproulete as a personal todo list. The task is unlisted.

What I do is I look at other sources, mainly background images, because of the distinctive roof shape. But also mapillary to see if the charger is there.

There won't be many changes in this case and in many other cases because it was a good import in the first place.

I think that if there is a change, then the sources should be combined.

There are also some chargers that are not on the map jet, so then the source tag makes sense

ik zal vanavond ook even naar de name suggestion index kijken. die wordt door id gebruikt voor deze suggestie. anders gaat het nog wel vaker voorkomen dat hij weer terug gaat naar aquabus.

But I see where you are coming from. I don't think that the diplomatic tagging scheme has any provisions for this.

I still stand by my change but feel free to change it back.

You can give me too much credit because it's the tagging recommended by the ID.

I did, however, look into it to fix the recommended tagging in ID. According to the Flag Institute ( it advises the UK government and the UN), they are interchangeable.

My process is the following:

I open taginfo on the country key [1] and I select several tags that are not in line with the country tag wiki page [2]

I start on tags with only one usages and that are clearly wrong but indenifiable: like "Vatican_City" or "pk" (not capilaised)

then i open them in level0 and see if i can check the value against a name.

only if im sutain that I can change the value then I do.

as per the CoC [3] it's only conciderd an automated edit if "These rules apply both to people using bots, scripts used or created to import new data and to make other systematic edits to the database by other means without consideration of each change."

I do every change by hand and check if i can find the right value and thus i dont think i fall under these rules.

as for clearifying my previos comment. I thnk something got lost in transelation but because im not local I CAN'T help you any further.

My current project is bringing down the about of country tag in tag info. So I don't look at the correctness of the feature or it's tags.

So I can help you any further.

this is my process:

I query with overpass turbo and load them in josm then i go over every issue found by the validation and fixing the issue by hand based on the name of the item.

I based the embassy tag on taginfo: https://taginfo.openstreetmap.org/keys/embassy#values

I based it on what i saw on other places and this is supported by taginfo: https://taginfo.openstreetmap.org/keys/embassy#values

sorry, because I was editing many power stations i did not take as much care as needed.

I use the construction key (osm.wiki/Key:construction) to try to fix the situation.

ik heb naar je changeset gekeken en het is niet helemaal goed gegaan.

je hebt een extra voetpad neergelegd maar deze heb je op de bestaand auto weg neergelegd. hierdoor kunnen de autos nog steeds hier rijden.

in dit geval had je de bever los moeten maken van marter en tussen het einde van bever en martter een pad moeten teken.

ik heb trouwen ook even gekeken op streetview en mij lijkt het meer een fietspad.

ik heb de voor gesteld edits al gemaakt en zijn te vinden in deze changeset: osm.org/changeset/99811879

ik raad aan om nog even te kijken met id wat ik heb gedaan.
