If you think you have identified a bug in Streetcomplete, maybe file a bug? https://github.com/streetcomplete/StreetComplete/issues

I see both... which nodes are you talking about specifically?

pedestrians have the right of way at all crosswalks - https://www.ny.gov/pedestrian-safety/additional-information

if you look at the satellite imagery, you will also see that there is tactile paving as well so it is even more obvious that crossings are allowed.

I didn't specifically do that, I think this is due to the drive through layering - iD asked me whether the road appeared above the building, which I answered correctly. Not sure how it happened.

not entirely sure how hostile they are, they aren't anything like the ones *inside* the subways. they seem to have an anti-flooding reason for existing, at least.

I'm not sure how that happened, but I wasn't intending to make changes to roads at all. Is that something you can fix? I'm not sure how to revert changes on OSM, sorry. Documentation to do this is fine too, so I can do this on my own (if it is handy to find).

If you can't handle it or help me with docs, let me know so that I can dig into it further to fix.

Thanks for bringing my attention to this!
