What an amazing community this is. Roads, building outlines, paths and footways are popping up everywhere in Bamako- the capital of Mali.
For those of you who haven't jumped in yet, there is still plenty of armchair mapping to do. Bamako has about 1.8 Million inhabitants... We won't be finished soon.

I once had direct mail contact with someone from geekcorps.org. There are others, but I don't remember anymore (accidentially erased mail folders some time ago- grrrr)
