Please don’t use OpenStreetMap for making political statements, like changing the name of osm.org/way/27816369/history to “Occupied part of Cyprus”. OpenStreetMap follows the “on the ground rule” when naming streets etc. See http://wiki.osmfoundation.org/w/images/d/d8/DisputedTerritoriesInformation.pdf for more details.

This message has been sent as one that you have to read before continuing to edit OpenStreetMap. Once you’ve read it, you’ll be able to continue mapping, but please don’t map “names” that don’t exist on the ground.
