3 weeks ago I commented on osm.org/changeset/43908377 because that changeset had “source=Google Maps” on it. As I said there, we are not allowed to copy from Google Maps as per osm.wiki/FAQ#What_images_and_maps_may_I_use_to_make_maps_from.3F .

However, because you’re still mapping and didn’t reply there I’m sending you this message to check that the source there really was Google Maps (there have been examples in the past where people have said that and meant something else) - I didn’t want to redact that changeset if there had been a misunderstanding over the source. Once you’ve read this message you’ll be able to carry on mapping as before using “GPS, notes, aerial imagery” as you have been doing recently.
