Dear user DoubleA,

the Norwegian community has repeatedly asked you to refrain from deleting highway=bus_stop in Norway (see https://resultmaps.neis-one.org/osm-discussion-comments?uid=1198074, and the forum explanation linked therein) yet you continue to delete this tag and replace it with public_transport=platform, something that is unwanted in Norway.

Please respect the tagging consensus in Norway and don’t barge in and tell them how to map.

If you’re using some QA tool that flags these as “errors” then please raise a ticket with the makers of the tool asking them to make it clearer to users (such as yourself) that a flag on the QA tool doesn’t mean that something should be corrected without knowledge of the local situation.

(A compromise might be achievable where the tags public_transport=platform and highway=bus_stop co-exist but you’d have to discuss that with the Norwegians first and not unilaterally decide what is right for them!)
