A number of other Mappers have contacted us with concerns about the way in which you have been reverting perfectly valid mapping. When people have asked why you are doing these reversions, you frequently then give the same explanation, that unfortunately makes absolutely no sense of any sort e.g. osm.org/changeset/142787927.

Why do you think that the work you have been reverting (which, in a lot of cases, has been done by very experienced mappers) is invalid, and, in this particular case, why do think that ways and lanes can’t be split?

Once you have read this note, you will again be able to log-in and continue mapping in OSM.

However, if we have not heard from you with the required explanations by 23 October, further action may have to be taken.
