This message is to advise that a temporary block has been placed on your OSM account.

It is one of the basic principles of OSM that no data may be copied from any copyrighted source without express approval being received in advance, as this could hold OSM open for legal action.

However, a number of other mappers have contacted us to express their concerns that you have apparently been editing OSM by using data from the Israeli government’s site https://www.govmap.gov.il e.g. osm.org/changeset/136664895 and osm.org/changeset/142368909

This data is not licensed for public use in this way, so you must cease this practice immediately.

Once you have read this note, you will again be able to log-in and continue mapping in OSM, but we would expect you to immediately revert all the changes that you added using data from that site.

If this has not been done by 5 November, further action may have to be taken.
