Hello again Saucon Support.
Andy from OSM’s Data Working Group again. We have received yet another complaint about your speed limit edits. Previous comments from OSM mappers can be seen at https://resultmaps.neis-one.org/osm-discussion-comments.php?uid=2795667 , previous blocks are at osm.org/user_blocks/5501 , osm.org/user_blocks/5548 , osm.org/user_blocks/5615 , osm.org/user_blocks/5726 , osm.org/user_blocks/6054 , osm.org/user_blocks/6087 .
Given that this is a recurring issue, I have blocked this account until you can explain to us how you will manage these updates better in the future. Clearly whatever process you have in process now does not work. For the avoidance of doubt, if you’re updating a speed limit from X to Y you need to have good evidence that it is indeed now Y. “Some random person told you” is not good enough. Perhaps you could consider using Mapillary or Bing StreetSide imagery to back up your edits in future.
When you have documented a process, please email us at data@openstreetmap.org with a subject line of “[Ticket#2021120710000022] Issue #17592 Saucon Support” so that we can discuss it.
Best Regards,
Andy
