I am contacting you in my role as a member of the OSMF data working group which deals with mapping disputes.

We have received a complaint about your replacing Russian with Ukrainian names in the Crimea, where Ukrainian is the official language but Russian is the language spoken on the ground.

Please explain your actions.

Until this matter is resolved, we must ask you not stop editing names (or reverting edits) in the Crimea.
