I wish there was a nicer way of welcoming you to OSM, but unfortunately, this message is to advise that a temporary block has been placed on your OSM account.

I understand that you may well have privacy concerns, but the wholesale deletion of massed features from OSM is not the way to address them!

Please refer to osm.wiki/Why_can%27t_I_delete_this_trail%3F for an explanation of the better way of going about things. If you have concerns, the correct procedure is to ask questions regarding what you think is wrong, then wait for a reply, not just delete everything.

I will be reverting all of the deletions you made. Please do not remove them again without prior discussion.

In addition, I see that you have also made changes to the Old Spanish Trail, in San Mateo County. This appears to be a normal residential road, so we would ask you for proof that it only has private access allowed, together with a posted 10mph speed limit? While it is sad that an accident occurred, and a dog was killed, these are not matters that are mapped in OSM, so we do not make changes just to prevent such things from possibly occurring again.

Once you have read this note, you will again be able to log-in and continue mapping in OSM, but we ask you to take note of these comments, to avoid any possible further action.
