I wish there was a nicer way of welcoming you to OSM, but unfortunately, this message is to advise that a temporary block has been placed on your OSM account.

I am sorry to have to say that we have noticed a number of issues with your mapping:

Your Changeset Comments all refer to KWIM Training, which suggests that your mapping is being done as part of a training program? Please see osm.wiki/Organised_Editing for an explanation of what is required for this sort of mapping.

Also in regard to Changeset Comments, they are supposed to tell other mappers what you have done in any particular edit, which KWIM Training obviously doesn’t. Please see osm.wiki/Good_changeset_comments, & improve your comments for future mapping.

We are also concerned by the way in which you have been adding features, then immediately deleting them; by some of the names you have been adding e.g. “common=44444”, footways named “SHORT CUT CROSSING RODE” & “kbrW”; and by the general poor quality mapping with buildings overlapping etc.

We would like an explanation of what you are doing, please.

Once you have read this note, you will again be able to log-in and continue mapping in OSM, but if we have not heard from you with the required explanations by 21 July, further action may have to be taken.
