This message is to advise that a temporary block has been placed on your OSM account.

It is one of the basic principles of OSM that no data may be copied from any copyrighted source without express approval being received in advance, as this could hold OSM open for legal action.

However, a number of other mappers have contacted us to express their concerns that you have apparently been editing OSM by using imagery from Nearmap, which is not licensed for our use, so you must cease this practice immediately. osm.wiki/NearMap_PhotoMaps

You have been told about this previously, so I have now reverted your latest Changesets that were apparently based on Nearmap imagery.

I also have a question regarding some of your other edits e.g. osm.org/changeset/153275437 and osm.org/changeset/153188058, where you have added tags for train warning and communication systems, but listed your source as Bing Maps Aerial?

What is your actual source for this information, please?

Once you have read this note, you will again be able to log-in and continue mapping in OSM, however, if we have not heard from you with the required explanations by 3 August, further action may have to be taken.
