Dear user slice0,
time and time again, I and my colleagues at the OSMF Data Working Group have tried to reason with you and the get you to play with, instead of against, the OSM community. A few hours ago you have yet again re-introduced a number of junction nodes into OSM that have been the subject of discussion. And even though we have asked you, many times, politely and patiently, not to push through your opinion without finding a community consensus first, you have not managed to find such a consensus, and went ahead anyway.
You have alienated most of the Australian community in various bad-faith forum discussions, you’ve used your user diary and user page to claim you’re the victim of censorship, and sent the DWG missive after missive about how you are right and everyone else mistaken. At times you acted as if you were sorry for your past interactions and claimed to do better, only to fall back to old behaviour patterns the next day. You accused other community members of harassment and cyber bullying when in fact you were the source of all conflict.
This stops today. The OSM community cannot be expected to spend their time dealing with your capricious behaviour, and neither can the OSMF Data Working Group.
After an internal discussion, we’re blocking your account indefinitely and we will reach out to the forum governance team asking them to suspend your forum account as well.
Please leave OpenStreetMap and find another pastime. We all have tried to work with you; it was not possible. You have thoroughly exhausted the patience of the DWG. We will not engage in further communication with you.
Best regards
Frederik Ramm
