We received another complaint about your changing highway classifications. Please understand that OSM uses British road classifications. In doing so, we end up with a world wide road classifications that are consistent. While the State of Maine may have it’s own road classification scheme, its roads should be classified according to OSM scheme.

I’d like to also suggest working with other contributors to resolve differences. OSM works best when we work together towards common goals. Getting highway classification correct is one of the more important goals.
