For the benefit of anyone else reading this:

The story here is basically that of one person who thinks that a road should be classified a certain way, and everyone else in the Polish community who thinks that it should be something else.

The DWG has tried to explain how OSM is a collaborative project and if one mapper disagrees with everyone else, they are wrong. We have also tried to explain how best to work as part of a community, and what forums can be used to discuss things. There have been many private messages from the DWG to Constrado and also public ones such as osm.org/user_blocks/16534 .
