I am writing to you on behalf of the OSMF data working group. We deal with disputes, vandalism, and copyright infringement. We have received a number of complaints about some of your edits, from different users.

The core issue seems to be a dispute about you and a number of other users in the United States about what excatly constitutes a "tertiary" highway. We do not intend to get involved in the dispute; such disputes are generally, and should be, resolved by the community members through discussion.

What we object to is the fact that you seem to refuse to participate in the resolution of these disputes; instead you use automated edits to revert any change that does not match your personal opinion.

Please understand that OpenStreetMap is a community effort. Only by working together, and amicably resolving our disputes, can we achieve our goals. There is no room in OpenStreetMap for people who believe that they are always right and stand above discussion.

We urge you to discuss the matter of road classification with your peers in any of the available ways - e.g. on the talk-us mailing list. We expect you to refrain from reverting the edits of others until an the matter has been resolved.
