I am afraid I have to block your account again to allow you to cool down.

Before I continue, let me say that your contributions to OSM are welcome. You have definitely made a good and lasting contribution to OSM, and I hope that you will continue to contribute your valuable local knowledge to OSM in the future.

But in the last couple of weeks you have been increasingly combative, and showered other mappers with insults when they disagreed with you (“Lo tuyo ya es imbecilidad supina.”, “pedazo idiota”, “maldito payaso”). You have used your changeset comments to send threatening personal messages to other mappers, instead of correctly describing what you were doing and why.

This is clearly getting out of control, and much too emotional for OpenStreetMap’s and for your own good. I am therefore blocking your account for one month.

This does not necessarily mean that you are wrong. I have seen some edit wars between you and other mappers where I think that the other mappers have not properly explained why they were reverting your work. I will look into these cases, and request an explanation from other mappers as well.

Please, in the future, when you edit something and someone else reverts your edit, and when you believe that this was unfair and you do not feel that you can settle the matter in a calm and factual manner with the other party, write to us at DWG, and we’ll look at the situation.

I hope that you understand that taking a break from OSM is a healthy decision.
