You should know that sending the data from MAPS.ME to Internet you add it on a world map, which every person can see. This world map has name OpenStreetMap. You can read about this map at the addresses [2,3,4]. The MAPS.ME programme uses OpenStreetMap data.
Please, use the bookmarks for personal notes in MAPS.ME. The bookmarks are stored on your device only. MAPS.ME does not send the bookmarks to OpenStreetMap.
