Dear users SHARCRASH and tоmоlоbla,

you have each reached out to DWG and complaining about the other one’s mapping. The DWG will look at this in detail. This will take several weeks.

During this time, we ask each of you to refrain from any “armchair mapping”. No mapping based on aerial imagery, and certainly no mapping based on LIDAR data. You are free to map anything you survey in person, or use aerial imagery/LIDAR to help you map areas you have a firm knowledge of. But most of the dispute between the two of you seems to come from how to interpret certain data sources where NEITHER OF YOU KNOWS THE SITUATION FIRST-HAND. This is a preliminary assessment and as I said, we will look into this in detail, but while we do so, please strictly limit yourselves to mapping of things you have actually surveyed in person or at least things you have recently visited. Strictly no armchair guessing of stuff based in LIDAR or imagery. Strictly no reverts of anyone else’s data unless you personally know the area.

This limitation remains in place until you hear otherwise. As I said, it will take a few weeks at minimum - maybe more. I am not blocking your accounts in the mean time but should you disregard this request and map anything that it not based on survey or recent local knowledge, you will be blocked until the end of our investigation which, as I said, will take several weeks or more.

Should you find it in your hearts to resolve your conflict amicably in the mean time, please inform DWG of this and we will lift this limitation immediately.
