You appear to be performing a series of mechanical edits involving trees.

I’ve added a changeset discussion comment to osm.org/changeset/26935404 noting that some information has been lost, and asking if you need help reverting the data.

Previously (not “wearing a Data Working Group hat”) I sent you a message via osm.org/changeset/26796184 , to which I’ve not seen a reply - that seemed to assume that a “mix of trees” involved a “mix of leaf types” which doesn’t seem valid to me (I can think of woodland near me that that is either all conferous or all non-coniferous yet still has a wide range of different sorts of trees in it).

It’s important that osm.wiki/Mechanical_Edit_Policy is followed so that these sorts of issues can be discussed and picked up before any changes are made.

I’ve sent this as a message that has to be read rather than a regular one because I didn’t get a reply via osm.org/changeset/26796184 (maybe you don’t have a valid linked email address at the moment?) Please reply in either changeset discussion (or both), or to data@osmfoundation.org .
