This message is to advise that a temporary block has been placed on your OSM account.

A number of other mappers have contacted us to express their concerns that you may be editing OSM by using data from other copyrighted maps such as Naver and VWorld Maps?

They have pointed out examples of some of your Changesets where the source is listed as https://map.pstatic.net/nrb/styles/basic/1665119629/{z}/{x}/{y}.png?mt=bg.ol.ts.br.ar.lko%20 , https://xdworld.vworld.kr/2d/Satellite/service/{z}/{x}/{y}.jpe , and https://map.pstatic.net/nrb/styles/basic/1671768497/{z}/{x}/{y}.png?mt=bg.ol.ts.br.ar.lko.

Could you please tell us where this information has come from?

It is one of the basic principles of OSM that no data may be copied from any other copyrighted map, so if this is the case, this practice must stop immediately.

Once you have read this note, you will again be able to log-in and continue mapping in OSM, but if we do not hear from you by Friday 6 January, regarding the source of this data, we may be forced to take further action.
