This message is to advise that a block has been placed on your OSM account.

Unfortunately, a number of Mappers have contacted us with a number of concerns about your work:

• it frequently contains major errors, such as removing correctly mapped items, then replacing them with fictitious items.

• poor Changeset Comments which you have been leaving when you have edited OSM. For the benefit of other users, you need to describe what you have actually done in any change, but Comments such as “c” and “s” certainly don’t do this. Please have a read of osm.wiki/Good_changeset_comments.

• in addition, when other Mappers have left comments on your Changesets, pointing out issues, or requesting further information from you, you have not responded to them. In future, we would ask you to please do so, as these comments usually have a very important role in preventing errors such as these from occurring.

• we are also concerned that you are actually editing as part of a group, possibly for teaching purposes? If so, we need to draw your attention to osm.wiki/Organised_Editing.

While this block is in place, we ask you to please take note of these comments, so we will not have to take any further action in the future.
