This message is to advise that a temporary block has been placed on your OSM account.

As OSM is used by so many various users, worldwide, it is essential that the utmost care be taken to ensure that only correct and factual information is added to the map.

Unfortunately, a number of Mappers have contacted us with concerns about your work, in that you have been adding tags such as “Test” to the map.

We would ask you to please stop doing this, and to also correct those cases where you have done the same thing previously, otherwise your changes will all have to be reverted.

Once you have read this note, you will again be able to log-in and continue mapping in OSM. We ask you to please take note of these comments, so we will not have to take any further action.

However, if the required corrections have not been made by Thursday 19 January 2023, the block will be reimposed on your account.
