This message is to advise that a temporary block has been placed on your OSM account.

Initially, we were contacted by other Mappers who have left comments on your Changesets, pointing out issues, or requesting further information from you, but you haven’t responded to them. We would ask you to please do so, as these comments usually have a very important role in preventing errors such as these from occurring.

They have also expressed concern regarding the Changeset Comments which you have been leaving when you have edited OSM. These Comments are supposed to inform other Mappers of what you have done, and comments such as “yy”, or made up of hashtags, don’t do this.

Looking further at the work you have done, however, it would also appear that you are in the process of adding fictitious items e.g. osm.org/changeset/133385518 with a cafe mapped where no visible building exists, and a wetland under a forest canopy in the middle of a village; and osm.org/changeset/133333386 where you have apparently mapped a fictitious fast food establishment named “yyy”?

Once you have read this note, you will again be able to log-in and continue mapping in OSM.

However, we would expect you to immediately correct any errors such as these, and explain the source of your information. If we have not heard from you with the required explanations by Monday 13 March, further action may have to be taken.
