Three weeks ago people made complaints about a number of changes that you’d made to OpenStreetMap. As a result, we asked you to be more careful and (if the problems were accidental) explain what had happened.

Unfortunately since then there have been some more complaints, about osm.org/changeset/33500805 and osm.org/changeset/33646862 . OpenStreetMap isn’t the place for experimenting with “what if this road was like that” - it’s for recording things as they are.

One more thing - please, on any edits, do use meaningful changeset comments explaining why you’ve made a certain change. For example, on a changeset like osm.org/changeset/33646862 , you should have explained why you think that part of the R917 is called Station Road not Spencer Street (despite it being the continuation of Spencer Street towards Spencer Manor just to the southwest).

Obviously we don’t want to stop anyone from contributing to OpenStreetMap but if problematical changes that need to be reverted continue we may have to do so.
