Hello, and welcome to OpenStreetMap.

OpenstreetMap is a project for mapping things as they exist in the real world. It’s not for “test edits” so see how things show up on the map, or for things that you might like to exist. There’s no motorway in Cornwall near the one that you added in osm.org/changeset/36529465 (I’m sure plenty of people in Cornwall would like a motorway that joins them to the rest of the world, although one that goes around in a circle wouldn’t be much use).

You’re welcome to contribute to OSM but please do so positively:

o Add things that do exist, not things that don’t.

o Do make sure that you explain the edits that you’re making in changeset comments (“dslfedsf “ on osm.org/changeset/36529465 is not an explanation).

o Do please reply to other mappers in changeset discussions when they ask you questions, for example in osm.org/changeset/36458698 .

o Don’t just close notes without any explanation, like you did with osm.org/note/312383

I’m sending this message as one that has to be read before continuing editing just in case you’re not receiving emails for any reason. You’ll be able to carry on mapping as soon as you’ve read it, but please do contribute positively (as described above) or you may be prevented from updating OpenStreetMap in the future.
