I’m sending this message as one that has to be read before continuing editing just in case you’re not receiving emails for any reason. A couple of mappers - including me - have tried to get in touch via changeset discussion comments (see for example osm.org/changeset/36392589 ) and haven’t had a reply.

OpenStreetMap is a collaborative community, and we have to work together to create the best map. Therefore, it’s only polite to reply when other mappers ask questions. It’s possible that you haven’t seen these if your email is not set up properly, in which case you can go to osm.org/user/h31l54/history and see where people have asked questions about changes that you have made. Please do reply to them, and also (if you are not receiving email notifications of changeset discussions) try and sort out your email too.

One more thing - it’s really helpful to other mappers to add a description of changes that you’re making (it doesn’t have to be a huge paragraph - osm.org/changeset/33631443 is one of mine, for example). That way people can see why changes were made and what the source was. Just saying “repair work” every time doesn’t explain what you’re changing, why, or what the source of the change was.
